1. JSerra 20-9: The Lions won the CIF Southern Section Division 1 championship with a dramatic 1-0 win over Santa Margarita in the finals. JSerra declined its invitation to play in next week’s CIF SoCal Regional playoffs.

2. Santa Margarita 26-7: Collin Clarke pitched magnificently for the Eagles in their 1-0 loss to JSerra in eight innings in the CIF-SS Division 1 championship game. The Eagles won the Trinity League championship with a 14-1 league record.

3. Orange Lutheran 22-11-1: The Lancers tied with JSerra for third place in the Trinity League. They lost to Santa Margarita in the Division 1 semifinals.

4. Villa Park 21-11: The Spartans won the Crestview League championship, lost to Orange Luthern in the Division 1 quarterfinals.

5. Huntington Beach 22-9: The Oilers won the Surf League championship and the National High School Invitational championship. They also reached the Boras Classic South final and lost to Villa Park in the Division 1 second round.

6. Mater Dei 18-12-1: The Monarchs finished second in the Trinity League, swept JSerra in a three-game league series, and lost to Santiago of Corona by one run in the Division 2 second round.

7. Cypress 23-8: The Centurions won the National Classic championship and tied Pacifica for the Empire League championship. They also lost to Sierra Canyon by one run in the Division 1 playoffs second round.

8. Pacifica 20-3: The Mariners tied for the Empire League championship, had a 15-game winning streak that included a win over Villa Park, and lost to Torrance in the Division 1 playoffs first round.
