Taco Bell has begun to make good on a promise it made last Friday to bring forth a lot of new items in 2024.
The first of those items is called a Cheesy Chicken Crispanada, and it will be available Thursday, Feb. 15 for a limited time, according to a news release.
The Irvine-based chain describes it as a new take on an empanada with chicken, cheese and spices inside a crispy shell. The price is $3.49, according to the news release, but it may vary by location.
It was among more than a dozen innovations teased by chief marketing officer Taylor Montgomery and other Taco Bell executives Feb. 9 at an hour-long fan event called Live Más LIVE. It took place in Las Vegas two days before the Super Bowl.
