It is time for the girls to deliver on their promise.
Their promise of tasty Girl Scout cookies.
It is that time of year again: Cooking selling season. And on Saturday a “mega delivery” of supplies for the young entrepreneurs was delivered.
More than a million packages of cookies – from the time-tested Thin Mints to the more recently introduced Adventurefuls – were picked up by Orange County troops from a staging area at Wild Rivers in the Irvine Great Park.
Pre-orders for those who know a scout have already begun, and starting Feb. 10, booth sales start. Selling season ends March 12.
Debuting this year is an online-only, for direct shipment offering: Raspberry Rally. There are 10 flavors in the lineup this year and a package of cookies is $6.
