Orange County punk band The Offspring have announced the Let The Bad Times Roll Tour, which will stop at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine on Sunday, Aug. 6.

The tour will also include Sum 41 and Simple Plan.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, March 24 at LiveNation.com. A pre-sale for CitiCard members will start on Tuesday, March 21 at citientertainment.com. The band is also playing North Island Credit Union in Chula Vista on Tuesday, Aug. 8.

The tour comes in support of the band’s 2021 record, “Let The Bad Times Roll,” which spawned the singles “Coming For You” and “This Is Not Utopia.” The album was the group’s first release of new material in nearly nine years.

During a 2021 interview with the Southern California News Group, guitarist Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman said it took so long because “We finished our deal with Sony, so we didn’t have anyone cracking the whip. We didn’t have any deadlines. Dexter (Holland, the band’s singer) went back to school, got his PhD. That took a little bit longer than he thought.”
